GS1 MOs

1SYNC international activities goal is to provide our customers with worldwide connections. To accomplish this, 1SYNC has a dedicated team to deliver international services.

As of today, the 1SYNC Data Pool Solution is synchronizing data with over 20 countries and several retailers globally.

Our goal is to get your company connected on a global basis, but at the same time allow your company to manage local needs and requirements. To achieve this, 1SYNC works collaboratively with local GS1 Member Organizations (MOs) and local partners to deliver Global Data Synchronization solutions adapted to local needs.

As a customer-driven organization, 1SYNC relies on its customers to influence its strategy, identify obstacles and support the adoption of the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN). Members are encouraged to participate on 1SYNC communities to share experiences, ideas, identify obstacles and act to influence the adoption of the GDSN. 1SYNC communities play a role in specific country activities and/or issues to enhance the adoption of the data synchronization initiative.

Regional Implementation Groups
The Implementation Groups are content specific, managed by 1SYNC staff and are created to:

  • Maintain a mechanism for establishing, and communicating to 1SYNC, customers’ collective priorities
  • Define and follow up on execution of customers’ business needs in relation to data synchronization
  • Provide a tactical overview of ongoing data synchronization initiatives and exchange information / experiences on progress made and on obstacles encountered
  • Identify and take action to resolve data synchronization adoption issues
  • Participants
    • 1SYNC Implementation Groups are formed by 1SYNC customers – retailers and manufacturers – with a strong data synchronization program and activities across geographies
    • Partner organizations, such as the local GS1 MOs
    • Director and manager level with direct responsibility of data sync activities within that specific region
    • The members of 1SYNC Implementation Group are invited by 1SYNC to join

Focus Groups
Focus Groups are country, region, or initiative specific, managed by 1SYNC staff and are created to:

  • Provide a forum for the sharing of information and experience in data synchronization implementations on a local bases
  • Maintain a mechanism for establishing, and communicating to 1SYNC, customers’ collective priorities for future development direction and enhancement of 1SYNC products, with the objective on ensuring their continuous improvement
  • Discuss country / region specific issues in regarding to the development of readiness of data synchronization
  • Discuss technical aspects of implementation projects
  • Generate adoption of data synchronization
  • Discuss project status and prioritize actions
  • Identify roadblocks and opportunities for 1SYNC activities
